Bob Richardson

Bob Richardson lives in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and has been providing public affairs counsel to organizations in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors for over 30 years. Bob was the Executive Vice-President, Public Affairs for Edelman Canada, Senior Vice-President at Ipsos Reid, and Vice-President at the Angus Reid Group. Bob was also the co-founder of the Devon Group, where he built one of Ontario’s most respected government relations agencies.

Bob has also served as Chief of Staff to various Ministers within the Ontario government.

A frequent commentator on political and business issues, Bob appears on CBC, CTV, Global, BBC, Radio-Canada, the Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, and is a regular contributor to Newstalk 1010.

Bob has a passion for sports and served as Chief Operating Officer of Toronto’s 2008 Olympic bid. Bob was also a leader for the successful bid for the 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Am Games. In addition, he also served for several years on the board of Canada Soccer.

Bob is an active volunteer in his community and has twice been named in the top 50 list of Toronto Life‘s most influential people.

In recognition of his community service, he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012.

Bob speaks English and French and is a graduate of Carleton University.
